Aku cinta padamu

There's a classic scene in a movie titled 'Bisikan Cinta' where the hero (Azhar Sulaiman) stood by the rocks on a beach, shouted to the winds and declared his love towards the heroine (naturally), "Ayu! Aku cinta padamu!". Not really a bisikan...

But when the person you have been fancying for so long said "I love you" to your face (even though it was out of context), you go...

Lessons from 2015

1. Things don't always go to plan. Sometimes things get better, sometimes things get worse. But bad things almost always result in good things anyway.

2. Your taste in music doesn't really change.

3. East, west, home is best. Wherever and whatever home is.

4. Best friends make you happy and scold you whenever you do wrong.

5. Kids are cute. So are cats.

6. Plant plants. Cheap therapy. Even better if they actually grow.

7. Cheap books are almost always as good as expensive ones.

8. Early mornings can be the best time of the day.

9. If you're desperate, you can actually be awake for 38 hours straight and still be alert.

10. Keep photos that make you smile. Discard those that don't, they only burden your mobile phone.
